Bansko — once known mainly as a mountain resort — is now one of these emerging hubs, attracting digital nomads, entrepreneurs, educators, and artists who seek not only a lifestyle but a meaningful way of working and connecting.
The Challenge
Yet, while innovation is thriving in many places, the voices behind it are often lost. Local initiatives, creative experiments, and grassroots entrepreneurship rarely get the visibility or recognition they deserve. Great ideas stay local — instead of inspiring others. There is also a gap between generations, cultures, and sectors: those with experience and those with energy seldom meet on equal terms.
The Question We Ask
How can we create a platform where local innovators, educators, and entrepreneurs can share their stories — not just their projects — and connect with others who are building the future in new ways? How can we make Bansko a living example of what happens when people from different backgrounds collaborate around ideas that matter?

That is the purpose of Local Innovation Talks | Bansko Edition (LIT) — a storytelling-driven platform and event series that highlights the people shaping tomorrow’s ways of learning, living, and creating.
Produced by Me & Bo Life, in collaboration with Education Next, LIT captures conversations, podcasts, and articles that showcase innovation on a human scale.
Through in-depth interviews, real-life stories, and cross-cultural exchange, we illuminate how local actions can spark global impact.
Each talk is recorded and published as both an article and a podcast — allowing ideas to travel beyond borders and connect Bansko’s creative energy with the world.

About Us At Me & Bo Life
Christer & Boryana are the founders of Me & Bo Life – a creative platform where stories, people, and places connect. Together, they combine Swedish experience with Bulgarian curiosity, working on projects focused on culture, innovation, human development, and social change.
Christer has a background as a production and project manager in culture, music, and large-scale events – known for bringing structure to complexity and turning ideas into reality.
Boryana is a journalist and communicator at Bulgaria On Air etc, passionate about highlighting the people and ideas that truly make a difference.
Together, they craft meaningful stories — and build bridges between people, ideas, and places.
