Here we explore tiny houses, small homes, minimalism, smart design and the practical choices behind a more independent way of living. We look at how people create homes that are affordable, warm, functional and beautiful — without turning life into a constant race for more.
Through upcoming talks and gatherings in both Bansko and Sofia, Me & Bo Life will invite people to explore what a simpler, more intentional life can look like in Bulgaria today. These events will bring together practical knowledge, personal stories, design ideas and honest discussion — from tiny-house possibilities and sustainable building to remote work, affordability and the courage to choose a different direction.
The aim is not to tell people how they should live. It is to ask better questions together.
Because minimalism is not about empty rooms or denying yourself comfort. It is about choosing deliberately. Keeping what brings value. Letting go of what does not. Building a life that gives you more time, more calm and more freedom to decide what comes next.

We are especially interested in the connection between home, freedom and place. A small house near the mountains. A garden instead of another shopping centre. Water from the hills, a deck in the sun, a place to work remotely, cook slowly, welcome friends and breathe.
But this is not a page about perfection.
We will share ideas, plans, questions, mistakes, budgets, inspiration and conversations with people who have chosen a different path. Some may live in tiny houses. Some may renovate old homes. Others may simply be learning how to live with less — and live better.
We will also bring the conversation into the room.
Christer Berggren does not speak about tiny living from a distance. He has lived it.
For six years, Christer made his home on a 33-foot sailing boat in Gothenburg. Life on board taught him that every square metre has to earn its place: storage must work, routines must be simple, and comfort is created through good decisions rather than excess space.
He has also built two tiny houses and understands the reality behind the dream — planning, materials, budget, practical systems, compromises and the constant question: what do we truly need?
With a professional background in project management, design, logistics and complex live-event environments, Christer brings a rare combination of practical experience and big-picture thinking. He speaks openly about minimalism not as a trend, but as a tool for more independence, lower costs, greater calm and a life that is easier to shape around your own values.
In his talks in Bansko and Sofia, Christer explores tiny houses, small-space living, intelligent design and the courage to let go of what no longer serves us. There are no perfect formulas — only real experience, useful questions and a conversation about how we can create more life with less.
