GoSo Projekt launches at New Year – first international production: "Tear The Abyss" heads to Sweden

A new bridge between Sofia and Gothenburg – launching bold creative collaborations across borders

GoSo Projekt is a Swedish–Bulgarian creative consultancy bridging the worlds of music, media, innovation, and design. With roots in Gothenburg and Sofia, the company connects artists, companies, and ideas across borders – combining Scandinavian structure with Balkan soul to build bold, international projects.

Founded by Christer Berggren, a veteran of the Scandinavian event and music scene now based in both Bulgaria and Sweden, GoSo Projekt offers services in strategic advisory, artist development, content creation, rights management, publishing, and cross-border project leadership.

First project: Tear The Abyss goes North

The company launches officially this New Year – and its first artist project is already in motion.

“Tear The Abyss”, a rising Bulgarian metal act, will travel to Sweden in early 2026 for a one-week recording session with renowned Swedish producers behind some of Scandinavia’s most iconic sounds. The sessions will take place at Bohus Sound Studio in Gothenburg – known for shaping the legacy of bands like In Flames and The Haunted and "The Gothenburg sound"!

“This is what GoSo Projekt is built for – to connect talent, open new pathways, and bring local voices to the international stage,” says founder Christer Berggren.

The project is expected to result in a powerful debut EP, music videos, and a launch campaign targeted at both European and global audiences. Additional cross-border productions are already being developed.

Sofia–Gothenburg connection: more than a slogan

GoSo Projekt is already collaborating with Sofia Music Enterprises (SME) – Bulgaria’s leading concert promoter – and is in dialogue with other Swedish and Bulgarian partners across the creative industries. The company also provides coaching and consulting to artists, entrepreneurs, and companies working within music, media, digitalization, sustainability, and minimalist living concepts.
