I sometimes walk among the ruins of what was once one of the Soviet Union’s most loyal satellite states – Bulgaria. Here in Sofia, countless Soviet-era monuments still stand. Their forms are massive, their lines harsh, and their message as solid as the granite they are carved from: “Never forget who’s in charge.”
They remain — gigantic statues and obelisks — not built for beauty but for power. Like in Moscow, they were never meant to blend into the city or inspire creativity. They were built to dominate, to be eternal reminders of a time when the people did not rule their own country.

I carry with me many ideas that haven’t yet come to life. Projects that have taken root in my mind, waiting for the right time, place, and context. The Children’s Garden is one of them. A greenhouse for children – not just filled with plants and greenery, but with magic, fairies, mystical creatures, and living stories. A place where nature comes alive in a way children have never experienced before.
The idea came to me like a whisper – a deep desire to merge technology, stagecraft, and living nature. A space where children not only learn about nature – but feel it. Truly.

Last year, I climbed Vihren – the highest peak in the Pirin Mountains – with my partner Boryana. It was a moment of love, strength, and life realignment. This year, I’m returning – with a friend who once got stuck in a snowstorm on the same mountain for six hours. Maybe this time, I’ll be the one guiding him. Because I’ve learned something essential.
